Urban and Nature Landscapes

Separating Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula, Victoria Harbour boasts spectacular views of the city skyline. To fully appreciate its beauty, board the traditional duk ling and set sail for a 360-degree view of the surrounding area. After sunset, the harbour offers a dazzling light show daily – A Symphony of Lights is best viewed from the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront. Take the Peak Tram funicular and ascend to the summit of Victoria Peak for a spectacular viewpoint of the city below. Venture to Lantau Island and hop on the Ngong Ping Cable Car for aerial views of Tai O Fishing Village, the Big Buddha and Cheung Sha Beach. Escape the bustling city by taking a 30-min ferry ride to Lamma Island and hike the scenic 4km trail. Traverse through secluded beaches and temples while enjoying the unobstructed landscape of the island’s coastline.

A Destination for all Ages

At Hong Kong Disneyland, tap into the Force and wield your lightsaber against the evil Darth Vader, fly around Hong Kong with Iron Man and bite into some delicious Disney and Pixar-themed dim sum! Explore the natural geographical formations at Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark and learn how ancient volcanoes once reigned in the region, shaping the landscape as it is today. Be sure to check out the Devil’s Fist at Bluff Head and the inclined columnars around High Island’s Reservoir Dam. If you’re a nature enthusiast, head to Hong Kong Wetland Park for its rich natural biodiversity and spot native species like the Chinese Pond Heron and Pheasant-tailed Jacana. For families with kids, the park offers an indoor swamp area filled with obstacles and educational games, which are bound to keep the young minds entertained.

Experience Old Hong Kong

Relive nostalgia as you stroll along the swarming streets of Hong Kong. The ding ding trams have been around since 1904 – hop on this iconic ride and travel down old routes where traditional medicinal shops, old restaurants and historical buildings stand. Catch No. 68, an antique-style tram with an open-balcony for a full immersive experience: feel the breeze on your skin, listen to the buzzing city and smell the fragrance of freshly-baked bread and pastries. Visit the photogenic Montane Mansion, a system of interconnected buildings that is famous for being featured in many films – most notably Transformers: Age of Extinction. Head south to catch a glimpse of Aberdeen Floating Village, a unique fishing village of the Tanka people. Hop on a boat and learn about the area’s rich culture and history through an audio guide. If you’re lucky, you may be able to witness a live fish trade in action!

Eat like a Local

Follow our specially-curated gourmet guide for the best eats in Hong Kong. Located in the Central District, Lin Heung Tea House is one of the city’s most iconic and authentic places to enjoy dim sum. As the trolleys rattle towards your table, take your pick from a large range of selections such as custard buns, chicken wrapped in bean curd and more. For breakfast, try the local favourite: Hong Kong-style French toast – imagine biting into fluffy fried bread layered with peanut butter and drenched in a generous serving of maple syrup or condensed milk. When night falls, head over to Temple Street and explore the vibrant dai pai dong (open-air food stalls). Don’t forget to sample some mouthwatering street food like seafood skewers and egg waffles. Taste some delicious chilli crabs at the famous Temple Street Spicy Crab, distinguishable by its huge red crab signboard.
