      Day 1-3Namib-Naukluft National Park
      Arrival & Sossusvlei dunes

      Touch down at Windhoek’s Hosea Kutako International Airport to kick-start your Namibia adventure.  Here, you will be transferred to your safari lodge at the foot of the majestic Sossusvlei dunes via a chartered flight. Be captivated by the stunning landscape that has remained unchanged for millions of years. 

      The iconic Sossusvlei dunes of Namibia is a photographer’s paradise: the brilliant blue sky contrasts beautifully against its stunning sunset-red sands. Located in the scenic Namib-Naukluft National Park, Sossusvlei is the country’s premier attraction. Rising to almost 400m, the dunes is also home to a wonder of desert wildlife including the oryx, springbok, ostriches and an amazing variety of reptiles. 

      Climb ‘Big Daddy’, one of Sossusvlei’s tallest dunes and see if you spot some of these elusive creatures!

      Then, head over to explore Deadvlei. Meaning “dead marsh”, this white salt claypan is characterised by the dead camel thorn trees in the area. For an unparalleled experience of this wondrous dunescape: you may want to opt for a ride in a hot air balloon and enjoy an extravagant champagne breakfast as you soar high above the sands.

      Your next destination is the picturesque seaside town of Swakopmund. Fly off to Swakopmund Airport, where you’ll be chauffeured to your bed and breakfast in Swakopmund. 

      This seaside town is known for its wide-open avenues, colonial architectures, its surrounding otherworldly desert terrain as well as the panoramic views of the sparkling Atlantic Ocean. The quirky mix of German and Namibian influences, laid-back atmosphere and cool sea breeze make it a very popular destination. Check out its famous colonial landmarks — the Swakopmund Lighthouse and the Mole, an ancient sea wall specially built for large cargo ships to moor.       Ongava Private Game Reserve

      Take a chartered flight to your safari lodge near the Ongava Private Game Reserve — a 30,000-hectare reserve recognised as one of the top private game reserves in the entire region. 

      One of the best Namibian safari experiences, the Ongava Game Reserve offers the perfect combination of nature and safari activities within the greatest wildlife sanctuary in the whole of Namibia: Etosha National Park. The floodlit water holes in this national park are any nature lover’s dreams. Get up close with the Namibian wildlife such as the majestic rhinos, elephants and giraffes as they wander around the park and stop by these watering holes. Make your Namibian safari experience even more exciting with night game drives to observe the awesome wildlife under the cover of darkness, informative nature walks with an expert guide or even bird watching, where you can spot pink flamingos and white pelicans.

      …and the Namibia safari adventure, sadly, comes to a close. Have a sumptuous breakfast and take one last look around Namibia before it’s time to fly back to Windhoek for your outbound flight. Bon voyage!

      If you wish to extend your stay in Namibia, its capital Windhoek has plenty to offer. Nestled in the heart of the city, head over to the Independence Memorial Museum, which tells the story of Namibia’s anti-colonial resistance and their struggle for national liberation. 

      Built in 1933 and located on the outskirts of the capital, the Avis Dam Nature Reserve is an ideal spot to escape from the bustling city. Go on a hiking adventure as you admire the serenity of this nature reserve and its colourful birdlife.
