Welcome to Sydney
Arrive in Sydney and check into your very special hotel, Wildlife Retreat at Taronga. This is a unique accommodation experience that offers guests the opportunity to stay overnight within the zoo grounds, surrounded by Australian wildlife.
Take a stroll around the iconic Circular Quay and The Rocks area, stopping at the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge for iconic views of the city’s landmarks.
Visit the SEA LIFE Sydney Aquarium, where you can see a variety of marine life, including sharks, stingrays, and penguins.
At night, we’ll recommend family-friendly restaurants where you can wind down and discuss the day’s adventures!
Day 3-4Bowral
Bowral
Pickup your car rental and take a scenic inland drive to Bowral, the heart of Southern Highlands.
(Option to include driver-guide throughout the journey).
Head to the vineyards where the children will also be able to participate in kid-friendly activities while the adults sample some of the region’s best wines. Explore the stunning natural beauty of Fitzroy Falls and take a walk through the surrounding countryside. You can also visit some local farms and enjoy a picnic on the grounds.
Day 5-6Shoalhaven
Shoalhaven
Escape to the pristine natural beauty of the Shoalhaven where you can find some of the world’s whitest beaches. Take a whale or dolphin watching tour and marvel at the incredible marine life, or explore the stunning beaches and breathtaking landscapes of Jervis Bay.
Day 6-7Kiama
Kiama
Experience the stunning natural beauty of Kiama which is sure to impress with its natural wonders, seaside dining and laidback atmosphere. The Kiama Blowhole is truly a sight to behold – the natural rock formation dramatically shoots seawater into the air, sometimes as high at 20 metres!
