Travel north from Kyoto city into a coastal region where daily life centers on the sea. Spend the afternoon walking along the shoreline and visiting nearby temple grounds, before checking into your ryokan to enjoy a seasonal dinner highlighting local seafood and produce. Conclude the day with a restful night.
